Nannette Yvonne Lankford, 84, passed away July 25, 2016, with her family at her side. She was born on June 11, 1932 in OKC to Louis and Nancy Irene Exendine. She attended Central High in OKC and married her high school sweetheart, William Lankford, June 23, 1950. Yvonne spent over 20 years in surgery at Deaconess Hospital and was a longtime member of Metropolitan Baptist Church. She loved gardening, traveling, spending time with her grandchildren and her beloved pets, reading, and enjoying her time at the lake. Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents and husband, William. She is survived by her daughters, Vicki Gallop and husband Bill, Terry Rousselle and husband Bob; grandchildren, Tera and Curtis Harrison, Todd and Lori Gallop, Dusty and Sara Douglas, and Misty and Chad Nichols; great-grandchildren, Sydney, Colin, Gavin, Jackson, Raegan and Colton. She cherished her family and friends and her brother-in-law, Steve Lankford and wife Joann; nieces, Jenifer Tarelton and Stephany Lankford and their families. Visitation will be Thursday, 10am-9pm, with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Family services will be held at 10:00am, Friday, July 29, at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
