Winifred "Winnie" Mae McKinney, 96, died June 10, 2014 in OKC. She was born July 6, 1917 to Micheal and Ella Mae (Goode) Jordan. She lived all of her life in OKC and graduated from Central High School in 1935. She married John Curtis McKinney and they shared 26 years together. Winifred was a mother, homemaker and seamstress who enjoyed china painting and floral design. She was a loving grandmother, "Mimi", and wonderful neighbor. In later years, the loves of her life were her four legged companions. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, and sons, James Micheal and Richard Jordan McKinney. Survivors include her son, John C. McKinney, Jr. and wife Norma of OKC; daughter, Judy Peigare of OKC; grandchildren, Rick, Laura, Paula, Stuart, Amy, Jennifer, Christopher, Debora; great-grandchildren, Megan, Alicia, Emily, Katie, Alek, Madison, Jackson, Riley, Claire, Kyle, and Emily Grace; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Viewing will be Friday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be held at 12:00pm, Saturday, June 14 at Crown Heights Christian Church, 40th and N. Western.
