William Clifford Wikel, 63, died July 11, 2010. He was born November 9, 1946 in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa to Marcus Neil and Helen (Emerson) Wikel. He worked maintenance for the Putnam City Schools. He served in the Army Reserves in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Lea, he is survived by his sons, Tim Phillips and wife Susan, Darren Phillips; son-in-law Kevin Jefcoat; brother Ron Wikel and wife Jo; sister Susan Coppernoll and husband Jeff; 4 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
