William "Otis" Snider was born February 20, 1948 in Idabel, OK to Joe and Hazel Snider. He died May 1, 2019 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 71. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Cliff and Calvin Snider. William is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Nancy; his children: son, Christopher Snider of Oklahoma City, OK; his daughter, Stephanie Smith and husband Rick of Guthrie, OK; and son, Pepper Snider and wife Heather of Texas; two grandsons, Triston and Kasey Snider; sister, Betty Elliott of Wilson, OK; along with several nieces and nephews. William retired from Frito-Lay after 21 years of service. He also worked for Penske Trucking for several years. He loved old cars and enjoyed working on them and detailing them. He enjoyed spending time with his Dad and father-in-law fishing and hunting. He loved taking his family on camping trips to Broken Bow Lake or Lake Okemah. He also enjoyed coaching his children's various sporting activities. But, his absolute joy in his life were his two grandsons, Triston and Kasey. They were the light of his life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 4, 2019, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel, 3925 N Asbury Ave., Bethany, OK 73008. Public Viewing will be Friday May 3, 2019, noon-9pm, with family present from 5-7pm.
