William Delno Patterson, "Bill," passed away April 10, 2019 in Oklahoma City, at the age of 87. He was born in Lockridge, Iowa on January 18, 1932 to Arthur Patterson and Bertha Ethel Kaler Patterson. He attended high school in Fairfield, Iowa and then joined the U.S. Marine Corps. Bill is survived by his wife, Irma Elmina Cloke Patterson. They were married September 13, 1952. They had been married for 66 years. Bill is survived by his five children, Mary Johnson Runion, Charles Patterson, Joseph Patterson, William A. ("Bill") Patterson and Helen Patterson. They have ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Bill and Irma lived in Gary, Indiana for fifty-seven years where he later retired from Inland Steel, working as a millwright for almost 40 years. They moved to Nevada in 2011 and on to Oklahoma in 2015. Visitation for Bill is at Mercer-Adams, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany, OK 73008 on Monday, April 15 from 11:00 a.m -9:00 p.m.; visitation with family present will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Tuesday, April 16, at 10:00 a.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel followed by his committal service as a Marine Corps veteran at Ft.
