William (Bill) Charles Meadows was the son of Andrew Bert and Willie Mae Meadows. He was born March 21, 1925 in Tannehill, OK and lived in Sentinel, Oklahoma City and later in Edmond, OK. He went to be with the Lord April 17. He leaves behind one sister, Bobbie Viola Meade and two sons, Charlie and Dirk Meadows and their wives Linda and Robin. Bill leaves two stepdaughters, Stacy Thomas and Sydney Gonzales and one stepson, Brent Ballinger, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and two nephews. He went to school in Port and graduated at Sentinel, OK. After high school graduation, he entered the Army Air Corps and married his childhood sweetheart, Vorden Jean Caldwell. He served in WWll Pacific Theater as a fighter pilot of a P-38 in the 80th squadron, Headhunters. After the war, he graduated from Oklahoma City University and was a CFO at Woods Petroleum in Oklahoma City. Later, he went back to OCU Law School, and served as an attorney in private practice. Later in life, he met and married Virginia Huckabee Eoff and lived in Sentinel, joining her family in the banking business in Burns Flat, OK. Bill and Virginia enjoyed traveling and spending time with their families. He and Virginia were members of the Fairview Baptist Church, Edmond, OK. One of the highlights later in life was the experience of going to Israel with his pastor and friends from the church. A memorial Celebration of his life will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 3:30pm at Fairview Baptist Church, 1230 N. Sooner Rd., Edmond, OK.
