William Guy Martindale, affectionately known as Bill, died June 30, 2009. He was born September 17, 1943 to Curtis and Amy (Davis) Martindale. Preceded in death by his parents, Bill is survived by his wife Patty, Piedmont; daughter Amanda Gaston, OKC; son Michael Martindale and wife Debbie, Yukon; brother John Martindale, Midwest City; sister Ruth Ann Gunter and husband Stephen, Durham, NC; grandchildren Johnathan and Melanie; and numerous cousins and extended family members. Bill loved being outdoors especially motorcycle riding and riding horses with his wife and friends. He was an Army veteran serving in Korea and Ft. Sill. He worked as a system dispatcher at OG&E for 30 years. He was consistently a gallon blood donor and in death was a tissue donor. Bill touched the lives of many young boys as a little league coach of football and baseball in the PC area. Bills happiest times were spent with family and especially his grandchildren. If love could have saved him, he still would live. Services will be Friday, July 3, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Rose Hill Burial Park.
