William "Mark" Johnson, 69, passed away June 16, 2021, in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born October 13, 1951, in Oklahoma City, OK to Max E. Johnson and Emma Bernice (Douglass) Johnson. He married Portia (Withey) Johnson October 01, 2005, in Eureka Springs, AR. Mark graduated from PC High School and graduated from Central State University. He was an active member (45 years) with the Mid-America Ford and Shelby Nationals and was a recipient of the Hall of Fame and Iron Horse awards. He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Bernice (Douglass) Johnson. Survivors include his wife, Portia Johnson; son, Stephen Johnson, and Sarah Oliver and their 3 children, Cassidy, Althea, and August; daughter, Emily and Joey Hambrick and their son, William Charles Hambrick; father, Max E. Johnson and Kay Johnson; brother, Mike and Christy Johnson; sister, Marla Bennett Miller; sister, Mia and Russ Iden; sister, Michelle Zelrick; 2 stepchildren, Audrey Mathis and Christopher Fryar; several nieces and nephews, and loving family and friends. Viewing will be Sunday, June 20, 2021, from 11am to 8pm with family present from 6pm to 8pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service. Services will be held Monday, June 21, 2021, 10:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Bethany Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Mark's memory be made to the American Diabetes Association. .
