Bill Hixon, Jr., 87, passed away on April 10, 2014. William was born February 22, 1927 in Beggs, OK to William and Carrie (Riley) Hixon. He was a deacon at Kelham Baptist Church. He retired from Wilson Foods. William enjoyed spending time at the lake, playing dominos and watching OU football ~ but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 11 siblings. William is survived by his wife, Wanda; sister, Nova Gibson; daughter, Linda Eyler (Bill); sons, Ron Hixon (Juanita), and Terry Hixon (Jan); grandchildren, Cheyenne Cotner, Jennifer Hasselwander, Michelle Vess, Savannah Hixon, Cole Hixon and Chandra Burnett; and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 11am-9pm, Sunday at Mercer-Adams. Funeral Services will be 10:30am, Tuesday, April 15th at Kelham Baptist Church, 3400 N. Meridian Avenue with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kelham Baptist Church.
