William Herman Diepenbrock, 89, died April 30, 2011. He was born January 15, 1922 in St. Louis, Missouri to Herman and Frieda (Neuman) Diepenbrock. He married Minnie Gayrette Brooks, June 6, 1943. Served in the Navy during WWII as an Aviation Electronic Technical Mate 3rd class. Graduated from SE Missouri State University, Cape Girardeau, Missouri with a Liberal Arts degree. Worked at Emerson Electric in St. Louis, Missouri and also with McDonnell Douglas on the F101 Voodoo Fighter and the Mercury Space Project. In Oklahoma he worked for Rockwell designing Aero Commander aircrafts. An ordained minister, he pastored many churches, some of which included First Baptist, Granite City, Illinois, First Baptist, South Roxana, Illinois, Black Jack Mission, St. Louis, Missouri, First Baptist , Birch Tree, Missouri, and Goldsby Baptist, Goldsby, Oklahoma. He served as Sunday School teacher at Putnam City and Council Road Baptist Churches. He amassed an extensive library and studied and wrote extensively about the Old Testament Patriarchs, Nation of Israel and the Lost Tribes of Israel. He founded 888 Inc., published 888 Newsletter and Biblical Commentaries including Time and the Bible, The Book of Revelation and Lost Tribes of Israel. He was also an amateur astronomer and an Egyptian pyramidologist, combining both secular and Biblical history. He loved the Lord and it was his passion in life to spread the name of Jesus Christ to everyone that he met. Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife, Gayrette; sons, Bill and wife Nancy, Dick and wife Janelle, Tom and wife Linda; daughter, Lyn Squire and husband Steve; sister, Doris Day; 9 grandchildren, Will, Mandy, Melanie, Amy, Christa, Leslie, Catherine, Rachel and Jessica; and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday, May 4, 2:00 pm at Council Road Baptist Church with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. On Tuesday, May 3 from 6:30-8:30 pm, family will receive friends at Mercer-Adams in Bethany, Oklahoma.
