William W. "Bill" Caldwell, age 92, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024, in Edmond, OK.
Bill was one of four sons of the late Harry A. and Lenora S. (Lafon) Caldwell, born November 2, 1932, in Oklahoma City. Bill attended Classen High School, graduating in 1950.
Bill and his wife Patsy celebrated their 70th year of marriage shortly before her passing in 2022, having wed on February 16, 1952. To this union three children were born, Wayne, Debbie, and Chris.
Bill was a member of the Geary Free Methodist Church where he also served as a Deacon. Bill was a Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a retiree of Oklahoma Natural Gas (ONG) Company where he worked for 41 years. He was a member of ONGoers, the ONG retirees club. Bill was a founding member and former officer of the Oklahoma City Sail and Power Squadron boat club. He was also a long-time member of the Masonic Lodge.
Bill is survived by his sons, Wayne Caldwell and his wife Pamelia, Arcadia, OK, and Chris Caldwell, Calumet, OK; his brother, Jim Caldwell of Joplin, MO; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bill was preceded in death by his mother and father; his wife, Patsy; his daughter, Debbie; and his grandson, Tyler.
A viewing for Bill will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 9am-8pm with family present from 5-7pm at Mercer-Adams, 3925 N. Asbury Ave., Bethany, OK. Graveside services will be held Friday, December 13, 2024, 1:00pm at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13313 N. Kelley Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK.
