Obituary

Willena Mae Adams Miller was born on June 30th 1933 to Luther and Minnie Adams. She had 3 sisters and 3 brothers. She grew up in the Crescent area and graduated from Guthrie High School in 1951. She married Christian Glen Miller on November 30th 1952. Glen truly was her soul mate and the love of her life. They had 2 sons, Ted and Chris. Willena was a grade school teacher for 26 years, all in the Western Heights school district. She was also a pastors wife and a doting grandmother. Upon retirement she took on volunteer work at Council Road Baptist Church which she did for 15 years. She loved folding bulletins, organizing funeral dinners, taking care of all the ministers, and gossiping with the other volunteers. Throughout her life she enjoyed traveling, serving and being a grandmother. She eventually succumbed to dementia into the arms of our Lord on January 4th, 2022. Willie ran a very good and faithful race and is now whole again with Glen before our Savior. She is survived by her sons, Ted and Chris; Chris wife, Jane; grandchildren, Christy and Billy; Billys wife, Ashley; and great-granddaughters, Addison and Ashton Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen, and numerous family and friends, all of whom we believe are now reunited with her in heaven. .
