Obituary

Wilford Earl Webb was born on July 9, 1937 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was the seventh of nine children born to Joe and Cora Webb. Earl graduated from Bethany High School in 1955. He and his brothers learned carpentry from their dad. He worked at various carpentry and construction jobs throughout his career, as well as a short time for a gas company. Earl met his second wife and the love of his life, Mary Ada, in Colorado, and they were married in January of 1977. They moved back to Yukon, Oklahoma, where he lived until the time of his move to his heavenly home on June 8, 2023 at the age of 85 years and 11 months. Earl loved people and made friends everywhere he went. He loved to reminisce about his life and experiences. He especially loved his friends at the Dale Robertson center and his church at the Bethany Bible Missionary Church. His friends from Jernigan Memorial Church of the Nazarene held a special place in his heart. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Cora Webb; his wife, Mary Ada; his siblings, Elma, Raymond, Robert, Laverne, Virgil, Delma, and his twin, William Verle. Those left who will miss him immensely include his sister, Joann Terry of Woodward; his stepdaughters, Kristie Day, of Mustang and Peggy (Dan) Callahan, of Broomfield Colorado; and granddaughters, Lucy Day and Erin Callahan; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews, and a host of dear friends. A graveside service will be held on June 26, 2023 at 11:00am in Whisler Cemetery, 5211 N. W. 206th St. (W. Covell Rd, Edmond, OK) Oklahoma City, OK. .
