Warren Charles Garraway, 73, died on December 29, 2018, in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born November 3, 1945, in New York, New York to Walter Ray and Juanita Kathryn Garraway. He trusted Jesus as His personal Savior on December 19, 1977, at the First Baptist Church of Phoenix, NY, with Pastor Dean F. Bult. He was soon baptized thereafter and became active in his local church. For 22 years, he served in the choir and later as its director, in the bus ministry as a driver and later as a captain, and in the junior church ministry as a worker and later as its teacher. He was known as a faithful soulwinner and a friend to the pastor.
Warren worked for the New York State Department of Transportation as a Civil Engineer for 27 years. At the 1999 Pastors School in Hammond, Indiana, he surrendered to the call to preach when he was 53. He decided to take an early retirement at the age of 55 and went into full-time ministry. He began Reseeding America Ministries and served the Lord for 17 years as a Missionary Evangelist to America until God called him Home.
Reseeding America Ministries is an evangelistic ministry, working with local independent Baptist churches, geared toward training laymen to carry out the Great Commission through Gospel tract distribution and personal soulwinning. Reseeding America Ministries has distributed over 1,000,000 Gospel tracts and has seen nearly 10,000 people saved when Warren was called to Heaven. His family believes that his life for Christ testifies, "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." (II Timothy 4:7-8)
