Warren Thomas Goforth went to be with our Lord and Savior on the 22nd of November, 2013, at the age of 49. Warren was born on the 11th of November, 1964, in Oklahoma City, OK, to parents Lowell and Phyllis (Henschke) Goforth. Warren graduated from Okeene High School in 1983 and played in the State Championship football game in 1982. After graduating from High School, he moved to Oklahoma City. There, he began a job at The Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) for which he was employed 20 years. It was at OBI where he met his future lovely wife, Leisha. Warren and Leisha were married 24 years. In that time, Warren graduated from The University of Oklahoma with a degree in psychology. He then earned a physical therapy assistant degree from the Oklahoma City Community College. At the time of his passing, Warren was employed at Independence Rehab. After 12 years of marriage, Warren and Leisha were blessed with their first son, Grant, and then 2 1/2 years later, a second blessing, Reed. Warren was an avid OU football fan. However, more than OU, he loved watching any sports team for which his boys played. He was truly their biggest fan. He was not only a fan of his sons, but a role-model as well. He built them a foundation out of love and, more importantly, Christ. He taught them what true faith was by living it, even in the face of cancer. Warren was so loved and adored by Leisha, Grant, and Reed. He had helped Leisha build a loving home for their family. He will be forever missed. Survivors from the home are his wife, Leisha, and sons, Grant and Reed; Parents, Lowell and Phyllis Goforth; siblings, Lesa and her husband Dana, and children Andrew and Hilary of Fort Worth, TX, Ross Edward of OKC, Russell and his wife Xandra, and children Claire, Regan and Allison of Hydro, OK; uncle, BT Wooldridge, son William and wife Lori Wooldridge and son Jeff Wooldridge; uncle and aunt, Gene and Juanita Goforth, Terry, Gene Paul, and Mike Goforth; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Suzanne Linville. Warren was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ed and Helen Henschke, and Otis and Lillian Goforth. Viewing will be Monday, November 25 from 12-9pm, with family present from 7-9pm, at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service in Bethany.
