Wanda Lowder passed from this life to be with her Heavenly Father April 28, 2009. She was born in Butler County, Kentucky, November 26, 1930 to Paul and Wynnie Young of Bowling Green, Kentucky. She married Arnott Lowder of Wellington, Kansas in 1950. She is survived by sons Brent Lowder and wife Cheryl of Clinton, OK, Bryan Lowder and wife Dyanne of OKC, Bruce Lowder and wife Kim of Piedmont, OK; daughters Jill and Kim Lowder, both of OKC; grandchildren Abby Lowder, T.J. Templeton, Aaron Darnell, Jeremy Lowder, Eric Lowder, Louran Lowder, and Brice Lowder; great-grandchildren Connor and McKinley Templeton; sisters Wynona Lewis of Louisville, KY, and Sue Burke of Bowling Green, KY. She was active at Putnam City Church of Christ for many years where her late husband Arnott Lowder was Minister. She was a homemaker and a wonderful mother and devout Christian who loved her Lord and lived her life to be with Him. She had battled with cancer for the last 13 years of her life. She fought the good fight, finished her course and has gone to be with her Lord and husband Arnott, the love of her life. There will be a viewing Thursday at Mercer-Adams. Funeral services will be Friday, May 1, 2:00 p.m. at Putnam City Church of Christ. The family would like to thank Autumn Bridge Hospice for their care and support in her last days.
