Virginia Fay Walker, 82, died April 4, 2011. She was born June 25, 1928 in Hennessey, OK to William and Barbara (Pinkova) Ptacek. She retired from Deaconess Hospital and was a member of Tulakes Baptist Church. She married Willard T. Wid Walker Nov. 7, 1948 and he preceded her in death in 1992. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 5 siblings, and grandson Thad Walker. Survivors include daughter, Sharon Kay Mogg and husband Earl of Bethany, OK, and their children, Tommy Mogg and wife Angela of Yukon, OK, Scott Mogg and wife Jennifer of OKC; son, Paul Keith Butch Walker of Hennessey, OK, and his children, Brandon Walker and wife Becky of Okeene, OK, Jeremy Walker of Ames, OK, and Amanda Walker of Enid, OK; 9 great-grandchildren; and brother Lewis Bud Ptacek of Enid, OK. Viewing will be Wednesday, 9am-9pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Thursday, April 7, 2:00pm at Tulakes Baptist Church, 6715 NW 50th, Bethany with interment in Spring Creek Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
