Virginia Marie Bryan Usher, age 92, went to her Heavenly home on March 31, 2018. She was born on July 11, 1925, the 9th child of ten children raised in Bethany by her loving Christian parents, Hugh and Nellie Bryan, all of whom were members of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene. Virginia attended Bethany schools where she met a multitude of lifelong friends. On April 14, 1946, she was married to William Irvin Usher for 52 years until his death in 1998. They raised 3 children, Scott, Susan and Bob. She was a stay-at-home mom and also worked for the Putnam City School Cafeterias. In 2012, Virginia made a bold decision to leave her home and move to Southern Plaza Community. She loved her new home at the "Plaza" and made numerous new friends. She was an avid reader and liked sharing books with friends and family. Virginia loved her 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren along with her many nieces and nephews who loved her and will miss her deeply.
