Virginia Ginna' Irene Nichols, 85, of Oklahoma City, entered her Heavenly home Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in North Augusta, SC after a valiant fight with a rare cancer. She was born the third child to Wm & Anna Roth of Jennings, MO, September 4, 1930. She graduated from St. Luke's School of Nursing in 1950. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Dwain Nick' Nichols. She enjoyed a career in private practice nursing, actively serving in her church home of Our Savior for 47 years in many capacities. She loved playing Bridge, leading and sharing in Bible studies, watching and attending sporting events and musical concerts with friends, sharing in quality time with family and friends and dancing with her beloved husband. A beautiful example of a daughter, sister, wife, aunt, sister-in-law, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, godmother and friend. She lived her life for Christ every day, in word and in action. She is survived by her son, Ralph Nichols, daughter-in-law, Melanie Nichols, and only granddaughter, Virginia "Gini Blake" Nichols of North Augusta, SC. Visitation will be held at Mercer-Adams in Bethany, Thursday, October 22, 6-8pm. Services will be held at Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Friday, October 23, 10am with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
