Virginia Jane Moyer, 93, loving mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away Nov. 23, 2017. She was born on August 17, 1924 in Stigler, OK to Nelson and Iona Ford. Virginia loved her church, Portland Avenue Baptist, and served in many ministries at Portland for 66 years. She was a member for over 50 years in Masonic organizations; Eastern Star and Amaranth. She loved to travel and was involved with the Putnam City Travel Club, she was past president of her book club and loved volunteering for Whiz Kids. She was a devoted wife and mother, a faithful friend, a loving grandmother and great grandmother and a woman of great faith in Jesus Christ. Virginia is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Martin. She is survived by her two daughters, Vicki Daniel and her husband Richard (Dick), and Susan Coats and her husband Mickey; grandchildren, Tracy and husband, Jeff, Kyle and wife Amy, Andria and husband Trevor, Martin and his wife, Joan; great-grandchildren, Colter, Zack, Olivia, Kaelyn, Karsten and Austin. Viewing will be Nov. 26 at Mercer-Adams in Bethany from 11am-9pm with family present from 1-3pm. Services will be Tuesday, Nov 28, 10:00am, at Portland Avenue Baptist Church with private family graveside at Memorial Park.
