Virginia Lynn (Hoag) Lunn. Born August 29, 1927, in Bethany, OK. Died on February 27, 2019. Virginia graduated from Bethany High School in 1945 and received her bachelors degree and was awarded the Citizenship Award from Bethany-Peniel College in 1949. In her younger years, she was known for her violin playing and performed with the Oklahoma City Symphony Orchestra. She was a member of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene from childhood, loved her church, and volunteered with all age groups. She hosted countless church dinners and parties, which frequently included her famous brisket and apple cake.
In addition to her church, the most important thing in Virginias life was her family. Virginia is survived by her 3 children, Jeneane Lunn (Jim) of Vermont, John Lunn (Kathy) of Bethany, and Deborah Lunn (Jeff) of Tennessee; 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, and 1 great-granddaughter on the way.
Virginias family will be forever grateful to the staff and community of Spanish Cove for 15 incredible years of service and to Mercy Hospice for their compassion and care.
