Virginia Lois Shuffield-Keathley, 86, died March 2, 2017 in OKC. She was born June 23, 1930 in Porter, OK to James Anderson and Elva Maybelle (Edwards) Davis-Bradley. She worked early in her marriage as a grocery store meat wrapper. On May 23, 1947 she married the love of her life, Carl Shuffield in OKC. He preceded her in death in 1989. She was the eldest of 6 children and was preceded in death by sister, Ruth Ann Fancher and brothers, Billy Edward Davis, James "Sonny" Davis; 2nd husband, J.C. Keathley; and her sons, Carl E. Shuffield of Mustang and Jimmy D. Shuffield of Bethany. She is survived by her son, Gary D. Shuffield and wife Norma of OKC; daughter, Deanna R. and husband George R. Davis of OKC; along with her youngest brothers, Dwaine Bradley of OKC, Arnold Bradley of Edmond; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; as well as great-great-grandchildren. Virginias life revolved around her family. You could always find her cooking for everyone that came through the door. She was known for her "famous" biscuits." Sadly, her special recipe known only to her will be sorely missed! Her hobbies included music, dancing, cooking and visiting with family and friends. Viewing will be Monday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 5-7pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Tuesday, March 7, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Arlington Memory Gardens, OKC.
