Virginia Bolerjack, age 90, of Mount Vernon passed away on Friday, February 6, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. Virginia was born July 22, 1924 to Rev. Delbert and Grace Couchman in a Friends church parsonage in western Kansas. She studied at Bethany Peniel College, now Southern Nazarene University, and received degrees in Speech and Music. She married her husband, Francis, April 21, 1950 in Oklahoma City. She taught elementary age children in public schools for 26 years, and spent 52 years working with her husband in active ministry in the Church of the Nazarene. Virginia loved to plan and participate in activities with her five grandsons, attending many ballgames, concerts, quiz meets, amusement parks, kid's museums and miniature golf courses. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, F.H.; a son, Dr. Phillip (Rosanne) Bolerjack of Severn, Maryland; a daughter, Karen (Chris) Ingersol of Mount Vernon; grandsons, P. Aaron (Brittany) Bolerjack of Bethany, Oklahoma; J. Andrew (Tara) Bolerjack of Mount Vernon, G. Alexander (Rachel) Bolerjack of Bethany, Oklahoma, Clinton P. (Rachael) Ingersol of Wallingford, Connecticut, and Christopher A. (Brena) Ingersol of Dayton; and great granddaughter, Chloe. Funeral service will be held at 11:00am at Mercer Adams Chapel in Bethany, Oklahoma on Saturday, February 14, 2015. Viewing will be at 10:00am on Saturday with the family present. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum will follow the service.
