Vicky came to this earth in Omaha, NE on May 8, 1959. Daughter of the late Lee Jennings, survivors include her mother, Patricia Jennings; brother, Chris Jennings; nephews, Matthew and Michael Jennings; and her best friend and companion, Rocky. Vicky moved to Oklahoma with her parents when she was eight years old. She attended schools in Oklahoma, graduating from Putnam City West where she was a member of the National Honor Society and played flute and piccolo in the marching band. She continued her education at Oklahoma State University and graduated with a degree in secondary education in 1982. While at OSU, she was a member of Tau Beta Sigma and the OSU Marching Band. She was employed for several years by America Online. While there, she was introduced to Hot Air Ballooning which she said gave her a feeling of being in heaven. She obtained her pilot's license and purchased her first balloon. In 2008, Vicky founded Ascension to Excellence, a company for training various computer programs. She quickly became one of the top educators in the United States. This success enabled her to fulfill her dream of traveling the country. Vicky will be missed by many people. She is in Heaven looking down upon us all. Memorial service will be Wed., July 3, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel.
