Obituary

Vernon Zumbro, loving and wonderful husband, daddy, grandpa, uncle, brother, son and friend to everyone he met, was taken to be with our Lord and Savior on October 26, 2012. Vernon is survived by his wife, Ramona; daughter, Michele Wagaman and her boyfriend Tony, and granddaughter, Ashley; daughter, Sarah Garcia and her husband Jose and their girls, Alia, Kayliana, Alora, JoJo and Mia; parents, Pat and Troy; brother, Alan; mother-in-law, Ruth; sister and brother in law, Naomi and Ronnie; nieces and nephews and their families, Scott, Traci and Noah, Kandi, Bruce, Trent, Allison and Brandon, Angela, Corey, Danna, Dalton and Davin; dog, Sadie; and his backyard pet chickens. Vernon and Ramona would have been celebrating 40 wonderful years of marriage on November 11th. Vernon was able to work on or repair anything. He had a great sense of humor and always wanted to make people laugh. He was a graduate of Northwest Classen High School and retired from Dayton Tire Rubber Company after the plant shut down and he put in 35 years of service. Vernon loved spending time with his family, helping neighbors and family, being outdoors, gardening, taking care of his chickens, going to the lake, riding seadoos, working on computers, and maintaining his fish aquariums. He and Mona had recently purchased a motor home to travel in. Vernon always would do whatever he could to help when he was needed, especially when it came to his girls and his grandkids. He would always stop what he was doing and go take care of whatever they needed help with. He was the most kind, loving and patient husband ever. Services will be Tuesday, October 30, 11:00am at First Baptist Church of Bethany with interment following in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Wheatland, OK. Funeral Service Tuesday, October 30, 2012 11:00 AM First Baptist Church of Bethany 3800 N. Mueller Bethany, OK 73008
