Surrounded by her family at home Verene went peacefully to meet her Savior in her heavenly home on July 1, 2017. Preceded in death by her parents Charles Thomas and Alma (Maxon) Mathews. She is survived by her husband of 70 years John Thomas; son Stan Thomas and wife Pam, daughter Brenda Boydstun and husband Mike, son Brad Thomas and wife Lanelle; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday July 5, 2:00pm at Kelham Baptist Church with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
