Daughter of Donald and Mary Boone, Verda Mae Boone was born December 28, 1950, in Hazleton, PA. Verda passed away at home Saturday evening, January 20, 2018, with her husband, daughters Kelli and Keri, and Pastor Chad at her side. She spent her early childhood in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, eventually moving to Pomona, CA where the Boone family lived across the street from the Chambers family. So, Verda knew her future husband since she was 7 years old. Verda graduated from Passaic High School in 1968, Passaic, NJ. Following high school, Verda attended Clara Maass Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Belleville, NJ, but after a year, she decided not to pursue a nursing career. She married Fred Stork in 1970 and moved to Germany, where Fred was stationed with the Air Force. Kristin Marie Stork was born in Passaic, NJ February 23, 1971. Following her divorce, Verda and Kris moved to Tustin, CA to be with her parents. Verda and Rich began "dating" in 1977 and were married in a Las Vegas, NV Wedding Chapel on March 16, 1978 and honeymooned in Death Valley; a great time of the year for photography. Verda is survived by her husband Rich Chambers of Yukon, OK and her 3 daughters, Kris Millard of Yukon, OK, Kelli Bolton (Jonathan) of Yukon, OK, and Keri Trevino (Ryan) of Norman, OK. She has six grandkids, Kylee Stine and Khloe Millard (Kris), Parker, Brooks and Ruby Bolton, and Summer Trevino.
