Vanettia Louise "Terry" Liebman of Bethany, OK passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016. Terry was the daughter of George Chester Terry (d.1975) and Berta Lou (Mixon) Terry (d. 1992). She was born on March 22, 1931 in Mineral Wells, Texas. She graduated from Mineral Wells High School and moved to Bethany, OK in August of 1948 to attend Bethany-Peniel College (now SNU). After her junior year in college, she began working for Local Federal Savings and Loan as a teller. Forty years later, she was the Senior Executive Vice President of the company. After many years of faithful service, she retired in 1990. She had many accomplishments throughout her career with the highlight serving as President of the Institute of Financial Education in 1987-88. She served on many committees for Bethany First Church of the Nazarene as well as Southern Nazarene University. She was a board member for Bethany Public Schools. She married Roy Liebman on April 3, 1954 and they celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary this past year. They had two children, David Jon Liebman (d.1987) and Tiffani Michelle Patrick, married to David Patrick. She was preceded in death by her parents, two siblings, Mode Terry of White Settlement, TX and Charlotte Whisenhunt of Midlothian, TX. She leaves behind three precious grandchildren, Ryan, Mollie, and Brady Patrick of Edmond, OK. She is survived by several nieces and nephews: Wade Roquemore, James Terry, Melody Ware, Mark Ware, Nancy Liebman Davenport, Teresa Evans, Darla Roper, Tasha (Terry) Preston, and Amber Farris. Viewing will be Friday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 5-7pm at Mercer-Adams. A graveside service will be held for family and close friends on Saturday, July 2nd, 10:00am in Bethany Cemetery. Everyone is invited to a "Celebration of Life" which will be held on Saturday, July 2nd at the Skirvin Hotel in the Venetian Room on the 14th floor in Bricktown at 4:30pm for all who knew Terry.
