Tyler attended Skyview Elementary, Lakeview Middle School and he graduated from Yukon High School in 2007. He was an avid soccer player, hunter, fisherman and golfer, and he loved OU football. Above all, Tyler loved God and family. He attended Christ's Church of Yukon and Canadian Valley Baptist Church. He joined the Air Force with his twin brother, Taylor, in August 2007 and was recently promoted to Staff Sergeant. He was stationed at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, GA. Tyler served two tours of duty in Afghanistan. He is survived by his mother, Janis Tanksley and step-father, Steve Tanksley; his father, Todd Groschick; twin brother, Taylor Groschick; sister, Tory Groschick; grandmother, Teale Singleterry; grandparents, Paul and Helen Groschick; uncle, Greg Singleterry; aunt, Diane Singleterry; and cousin, Gabrielle Singleterry. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, D.J. "Jack" Singleterry. Tyler had a special relationship with his twin, Taylor. They were best friends, a bond that death will not break. He adored his little sister, Tory, and was fiercely protective of her. He was blessed with many friends from childhood to adulthood. Tyler was an amazing son, brother, grandson and friend and our lives are richer because of him. Family visitation will be Thursday, 5-7pm at Mercer-Adams. The Services will be Friday, November 18, 1:00pm at Christs Church of Yukon. Immediately following the service, interment with full military honors will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
