On January 22, 2017 in a blaze of red hair and blowing a kiss to St. Peter, Twila Dean (Glass) Mitchell, leaving whisps of Tabu in her wake, jitter-bugged through the Pearly Gates of Heaven. There to greet her was her precious grandmother, "Ma" Louemma Hansen who supervised her delivery on October 14, 1930 at her home in Thomas, Oklahoma. Also there looking dapper in his suit, tie and Homberg was her father, Clyde Glass, along with her sweet mother, Mary "Inez" Hansen Squires who had a table set with casseroles and lots of desserts. On down by the river bank she found her beloved step-father, Leo E. Squires, reeling in a big one, and her diminutive step-sister Martha Smith sitting with her sweet Aunt Dorothy Hansen. Looking down at the graveside service she saw those left behind that were happy that she no longer had pain or suffering: Brother, Clyde Glass & Phyllis of Rogers, AR; children DeAnna Smith & Bob of Tonkawa; Randy Fischer & Joy of Oklahoma City; Mary Beth Fischer & Ginger of Aubrey, TX; "grand-titties" Soriya Estes & Brian of Austin, TX; Steven Hamidi, Tennessee Colony, TX; Blake Fischer & Elyse, Carly Graham & Corey, and Ross Fischer & Chelsea all of Oklahoma City; and all of her great-grandchildren Jenna & Callie, Nathaniel & Nolan, Landree & Henlee, Poppy & Winnie, and Bennett & Ava Joy. She will be remembered for her sweet, shy smile, her sheepish laugh and love of holiday gatherings.
