Tom Hamilton, 74, passed from this world on January 31, 2022. He was born in Oklahoma City on July 7, 1947, to Vernon and Hazel Hamilton. He grew up in OKC and had fond memories of Buchanan Elementary, Taft Middle School, and Northwest Classen High School. As a child he loved long summer days with his friends, fishing for crawdads, and riding his bike everywhere he went. Tom was an extremely hard worker, mowing lawns, sanding buses, and throwing paper routes to pay for his beloved 55 Chevy. He attended the University of Oklahoma, working nights and summers to pay his own way, and graduated with a degree in business. Tom sold Insurance and did Financial Planning for most of his life. He enjoyed what he did and loved his clients. His greatest love, however, was his family. He is survived by his wife, Debbie; his daughter, Heather Royal, her husband, Darrell, and their two children, Meghan and Mason. Toms beloved son, Travis, preceded him in death. He is survived by Travis wife, Beth, and their children, Matthew, Anabeth, and Paige Crumley and her husband Braden. Tom adored animals of all types and played fetch endlessly with his dogs, while petting his cats. He was glued to the TV during OU football games, enjoyed movies, old car shows, motorcycles, swing dancing, and loved playing golf with his best friend, Victor Harris.
