Thelma Jean McBee was known to friends by her middle name, Jean. To her children, she was known as Mom. To her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was known as Granny MAC. She was born March 8, 1930 to Homer and Eugenia Allen in Hinton, Oklahoma. Thelma attended grade school and high school in Roosevelt, Oklahoma. She and her family later moved to a farm located near Sulphur, Oklahoma where she met Bill McBee. She and Bill married on March 30, 1948 and were married 65 years until his death. Thelma Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; daughter, Lawana Kay; her siblings and her parents. Thelma is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Gary Sigler; four grandsons, Shannon Williams, Bill, Chad and Gregory Sigler; and seven great grandchildren. On November 23, 2018, Thelma went to be with Jesus. At the time of her death she was a resident of Ranchwood Nursing Center. A graveside service will be held 11:00am, Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Bethany Cemetery.
