Thelma T. Foster was born near Hobart, OK on April 12, 1923. She grew up in Bethany, OK and moved to Washington D.C. to work in Civil Service after high school graduation. After retiring, she was a nanny for the Dickenson family of VA for 20 yrs. She moved back to OK in 2003. Thelma left for heaven on Oct. 15, 2011. She is survived by one sister, Joy F. Wilson, and one brother, James L. Foster, both of Bethany, OK, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive guests on Thursday from 7-9pm at Mercer-Adams. Funeral service is Friday, Oct. 21, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Mercer Adams Chapel, 3925 N Asbury, Bethany, OK 73008. In lieu of flowers, Thelma would be pleased for loved ones to donate money in her honor to an orphanage in Mozambique, Africa.
