Theda Alma Caughron Mobley was born in Sayre, OK, on April 9, 1921, to William Edgar and Willa Mada Glasgow Caughron. She died on Sunday, August 11, 2013, in Oklahoma City, OK. Theda previously resided at Superbia Retirement Village for over 15 years where she continued to attend church regularly even after moving in with her daughter, Alta. She was also a member of the Metro Camera Club. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Woody; son-in-law, Glenn Gilliam, and grandson, Brian Kasparek. Theda leaves behind her three daughters, all from OKC: Patsy Gilliam, Judy (& J.R.) Keenan and Alta (& Wayne) Srotyr. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Theda enjoyed life, loved traveling, playing bingo, and eating out. She was always ready to go. She was a role model and inspiration to many of us with her sweet, loving, caring nature. She loved being with her family and friends, and they loved her. She leaves us with many memories that will be cherished forever. A special thank you goes to the wonderful staff at Bellevue Rehab/Nursing, and to Dr. Mary Ann Bauman for her many years of loving care.
