Teddy D. Holly, 72, passed away on November 11, 2013. Ted was born in Clinton, OK, January 12, 1941 to Troy and Esther Holly. He was the youngest of four children. His parents, along with his two brothers, Bobby and Lamar, preceded him in death. He was married to Karen (K) Wells on May 1, 1964. Ted and Karen had two children, Bobby Lamar and Tracie Reagan. Bobby preceded him in death. Ted was very proud of both of his children. Ted started his 49 years of marriage to K. in Clinton, OK where he barbered with his Dad, while going to school. Ted soon went to work for Public Service. The family later moved to Tipton, OK with the company. After his mother became ill, the family made a decision to move to their final destination, Oklahoma City, where Ted had been hired by OG&E, where he retired. Ted graduated from Clinton High School and attended OSU and SWU. He loved to wheel and deal, loved football and enjoyed playing golf. He liked to tell jokes. He could remember every punch line. He was a big kid at heart. The neighborhood kids would sometimes come over and see if he could come out to play. He loved his family and all of his friends. He remained very close to his 59er Classmates. Ted is survived by his wife, K., his daughter, Tracie Reagan, his sister, Joyce Lee, and many loving nephews and nieces. His family will celebrate his life with a memorial service to be held Nov. 16, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Mercer-Adams, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany, OK.
