Sue Ellen Rahhal, our precious mother, met Jesus face to face on March 10, 2011. She was born in Weleetka, OK on May 1, 1937 to Clyfton and Mildred Raeuber. Sues greatest joy was her family; she was a loving and devoted mother and Grammy to her four children, ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Sue earned both a Bachelors and a Masters degree in math from Oklahoma State University, and was a devoted Pokes fan all of her life. She was a much loved high school teacher for many years, developing strong relationships with her students who often visited her home. Sue was also an accomplished pianist, and served her church faithfully for over 25 years. She took great pleasure in listening as her grandchildren followed in her footsteps musically. Sue was preceded in death by her parents; she is survived by her children, Bebe Lodes and husband, Clayton; Tony Rahhal and wife, Lori; Kelly Baker and husband, Paul; John Rahhal and wife, Laura; grandchildren Jason Lodes and wife, Megan; Nikki Clopton and husband, Kyle; Lindsey Christian and husband, Tommy; Ryan and Maggie Rahhal; Leslie Lodes; Brandon, Bradley and Hallie Baker; Leslie Hill and husband, Ron; great-grandchildren Lily, Jay, Trey, Julia and Tammy. Grammy was so dearly loved, and will be greatly missed by her family and a host of friends. The family expresses deep gratitude to the staff at Warr Acres Nursing Center for their love and care over the past years. Services will be Saturday, March 12, 1:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Weleetka Cemetery, Weleetka, OK.
