Stewart Ralph Haught was born to Jimmie Ralph Haught and Betty May Stewart on October 10, 1954 in Pampa, TX. The family moved to Oklahoma City when he was young. Stewart graduated from NW Classen High School in 1972 and OCU with a bachelors degree in Music in 1978. He loved music and sound. He spent his life in the midst of speakers, sound boards and cables. He also loved bicycling, the outdoors, building campfires and The Simpsons. Stewart worked for Miller Pro Audio and was sound engineer at New Hope UMC for 22 years where he was a member. Stewart went home to his Lord, July 23, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Patti Cherry Haught; and three children, Lacey Ellen, Heather Michelle, and Matthew Stewart. He is also survived by his sister, Robin Paul and husband Curtis. He had 8 loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Viewing will be Thursday, July 28, 9am-9pm with the family receiving friends from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany, OK. Services will be held on Friday, July 29, 10:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel. A memorial fund has been created through New Hope UMC, PO Box 720254, OKC, OK 73172.
