Obituary

Steven Ray Corcoran, age 68, passed away on May 26, 2024. Born on April 3rd, 1956, he lived a life marked by compassion, dedication, and unwavering kindness.

Steve was born and raised in Guthrie, Oklahoma where he went to high school. After high school he went into the workforce. He retired from AWG after 30 years of service.

Steve was known to all who knew him as a kind and godly man. His faith was the cornerstone of his life, guiding his actions and illuminating his path with compassion and understanding. He approached each day with a heart full of love and a deep commitment to helping others.

Steve was a pillar of strength and support for those in need. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, often spending time to mow the church yard. He loved to look at old cars and recently enjoyed buying and selling storage units as a hobby. He loved spending time with his kids, grandkids, and "granddogs."

Those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with Steve will warmly recall his subtle wit and contagious laughter. Even amidst challenges, he could often be seen smiling and joking.

Steve's passing leaves a void in the lives of those who loved him dearly. Yet, his memory will be cherished and his spirit forever lives on in those who remember him.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, George Washington and Ruth Eldora Corcoran; grandson, Stormy Lebouf; and his loveable furry companion, Little Bit.

He is survived by his wife, Karlene; his sons and their partners, Kelly and Kim, Matthew and Dawn; his daughter, April and her spouse, Daniel; as well as grandchildren, Brandon, Brady, Nikkita, Ashley, Natalie, Jake, Matt, and Christopher, who will hold onto the memories of his laughter, his humor, his smile and his unwavering love.

Though Steve may no longer walk among us, his legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to shine brightly, serving as a guiding light for all who strive to follow in his footsteps. May his soul find peace in the arms of the divine, and may his memory bring comfort to those who mourn his loss.
