Steve Eugene Vaughn, 61, died February 1, 2016 in OKC. He was born August 3, 1954 in OKC to Delbert and Patricia (Mott) Vaughn. He attended Putnam City original High School. He was a truck driver and a member of Teamsters Local 886. Steve loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He also loved to play many different instruments, his favorite being the guitar which he was self-taught. He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert. Survivors include three daughters, Heather Close and husband Scott of Piedmont, Christy Guyer and husband Eric of Pauls Valley, and Carri Shuck and husband Bryan of Union City; mother, Patricia of Warr Acres; two sisters, Tonya Jefferson and husband Paul of Yukon, Tammy Freeman and husband Jay of OKC; 8 grandchildren, Demi, Meagan, Ethan, Ashli, Garrett, Preston, Lillyan, and John Owen; and Scotter the cat.Viewing will be Wednesday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams.
