Steve died unexpectedly while surrounded by his loving family. Steve was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Lilac Petricek, his father, J.B, his mother, Joyce, and his older brother, Bruce. Steve is survived by wife of 26 years, Marta; son, Shane; daughter, Melissa Jensen, son-in-law, Jake Jensen, and granddaughters, Lilli and Davey; stepchildren, Amberlin Tannehill, Jeffrey Tannehill, and Eric Lauterbach; sister, Carolyn Yarbrough and husband Brad; along with an extended circle of family and friends. Steve was an avid outdoorsman, fantastic cook, animal lover and a master craftsman who was most proud of the family he built.
