Stephanie Ruth George Palmer, "Steph", age 56, passed from this life and into the presence of her Lord and Savior on February 27, 2019, in Oklahoma CIty, OK. Stephanie was born on July 15, 1962 in Garland, TX and spent most of her childhood years in Mustang, OK. As a young adult Stephanie lived in Southeastern, TX. She lived most of her adult years near the lake in Standing Rock, Cookson, OK and was a resident of Oklahoma CIty at the time of her passing. Steph spent many of her days helping others in any way she could. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, sewing, and fishing. Going to the lake to fish and camp overnight with David was a favorite weekend get-away. She had a soft spot for animals that needed a loving home and always had room for "just one more." Steph was fascinated with elephants and collected elephant memorabilia. Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Ruth (Campbell) George. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, David Palmer. She is also survived by her children, Ashley and Chris DeLanney and two sisters, Ann Campbell and Randy & Celesta Dalrymple. She will be fondly remembered by an uncle, ten nieces and nephews, twelve cousins and many friends she made during her lifetime. Viewing with family present will be Sunday, 3-5pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service. Services will be Monday, March 4, 11:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Cookson Cemetery, Cookson, OK.
