Obituary

Stephanie Dawn Muller was born to loving parents, Jim and Sue Muller, on September 20, 1965 in Oklahoma City, OK. After graduating from Putnam City West High School in 1983, Stephanie worked as an au pair in New York City and Connecticut. Upon returning to Oklahoma, Stephanie married and experienced the proudest moment of her life in the birth of her daughter, Sydney Nickels. Stephanie later resided in Salinas, California where she volunteered as Project Manager in the development of the @risK Artisan Gallery. The Gallery provides a place where homeless artists with barriers to employment can create, display and sell their art as well as opportunities for at risk women to assist in its daily operation. Stephanie was preceded in passing on to the Lord by her mother, Sue. Stephanie is survived by her daughter, Sydney; her father, Jim; brother, Brad Muller and his wife Gina; her sister, Susan (Muller) Kollmorgen and her husband Terry; as well as 5 nieces and one nephew to whom she was affectionately known as "Aunt Khaki." In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Franciscan Workers, P.O. Box 2027, Salinas, CA 93902 (please place "@risK gallery" in the check memo).
