Nadine Bynum passed from this life Sunday night, August 1, 2010. Stella Nadine Homer was born April 11, 1921 in Texas to M.O. and Mildred Homer. She grew up in Moore, OK where she graduated from high school in 1939. She married C.H. Bynum later that year in OKC, OK. They were married 63 years until his death in 2002. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, William, Bert and Connie Homer. She is survived by one son, Phil Bynum and wife Linda of OKC; one grandson, Mark Bynum; one great-granddaughter, Sophia Kate Bynum, Woodlands, TX; one sister, Norma Jean Howard and husband Dean, OKC; and many nieces and nephews. She was a faithful Christian and lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene. She served as a Sunday school teacher for over 30 years, and was well known as a soloist and choir member at Southside Church of the Nazarene. Viewing will be noon - 9:00pm with the family receiving guests from 6:00-8:00pm at Mercer-Adams. Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 4, 10:00am in Bethany Cemetery.
