Stella Elsie Benear, 86, died May 3, 2018 in Oklahoma City. She was born July 26, 1931 in Butler, OK to Charlie and Rosina (Wohl) Mohling. She married Roy Ulysses Benear on April 5, 1945 in Taloga, OK. In 1955, they moved to OKC. Stella retired from Lucent. Stella enjoyed going to Lake Eufaula, camping and doing outdoor cooking. She enjoyed talking to and visiting with people. She was famous for her homemade bread, cinnamon rolls and strudel. She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, Roy, son, Ronald Gene Benear, and daughter, Darla Kay Lock. Survivors include her son, Roy Lee Benear and wife Rose; daughters, Elsie Marie Lucas and husband Mark, Teresa Sue Randall; son-in-law, Marshall Lock and wife Johnnie; 9 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
