Sidney W. Rhame, Jr. went to be with his Heavenly Father on July 25, 2009. He was born January 23, 1933 in Joaquin, TX. He was a longtime member of NW Baptist Church and served 40 years as a Deacon. This month Sidney also completed 50 years as a CPA. He was preceded in death by his birth parents, Sid and Velma Rhame and beloved mother of 60 years, Edna Clark Rhame; sister, Billie Lang, and brother, Doyle Rhame. Sidney is survived by his wife, Georgene; daughter, Joy McDonald and husband Jim; and his sons, Sidney W. Rhame III and wife Melodee, and George Rhame and wife Teresa; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to NW Baptist Church, Equipping the Next Generation (building fund). Family will greet friends from 6-8 pm, Monday, July 27 at Mercer-Adams. Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 28 at 11:00am at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens and Memorial Service 2:00pm at NW Baptist Church.
