Shirley Stump, age 85, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022 in Yukon, OK. She was born September 22, 1937 in Okmulgee, OK to Nathaniel and Mayme Jones. She grew up in Drumright, OK where she met and married her husband of 61 years, Paul Stump. They moved to Bethany, OK where they joined Council Road Baptist Church. She served the church family behind the scenes in various ways, such as counting the offerings for 50 years, working in the nursery and daycare, plus making her rolls and cinnamon rolls for the Wednesday evening dinners. Paul and Shirley loved to bowl and bowled for many years where Shirley served as the league secretary for both leagues. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; 1 daughter; and 1 great-granddaughter. She is survived by 2 daughters and their spouses; 3 grandchildren; along with many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
