Shirley Marie (Ganz) Fox of Newcastle, Oklahoma, was born on October 25, 1943, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Edwin Victor and Valoise Irene Ganz. She passed from this life on June 22, 2026, at the age of 82.
Shirley married the love of her life, Bobby Joe Fox, on November 10, 1961, beginning a marriage that spanned more than sixty years. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, hard work, and friendship. They worked side by side in their family businesses and shared many adventures traveling throughout the United States in their motor coach, making lifelong friends wherever they went.
A devoted member of Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Bethany, Oklahoma, Shirley's faith was an important part of her life. She was deeply grateful for her church family, whose friendship, encouragement, and support brought her great joy through the years. Her family remains thankful for the love and care shown to her by the congregation.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Glenda; her brother, Larry; her son, Robbie; her beloved husband, Bobby; and other loved ones who welcomed her into eternal rest.
She is survived by her daughter, Marva Evans and husband Chris; her grandchildren, Chase Evans, Bryce Evans, Robert Randolph and wife Jeri, Tosha Tracy and husband Matt, and Allison Bird and husband Jonathon; many great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and dear friends.
Shirley will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her devotion to her family, her kindness, and the love she shared with all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the many lives she touched.
The family would like to thank Entrusted Hearts Home Care for their loving attentiveness and care.
Viewing at Mercer-Adams is Sunday, 11am-8pm, with family present from 5-6pm. Funeral services are Monday, June 29, 10:30am, at Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Bethany, OK. Interment will follow in IOOF Cemetery, Ponca City, OK, at 2:30pm
