Sherri Lynn Fisher, resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on December 15, 2018 at 4:55pm in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 61. Sherri was born in Kansas City, MO on March 30, 1957 to Jack and Dorothy Fisher. Sherri was raised in Kansas City, MO by Jack and Dorothy Fisher with 2 brothers, Mike Fisher and Jerry Fisher and 1 sister, Sandy Fisher- Kelley. Sherri graduated from Reed Springs High School in 1975. Sherri gave birth to her son, Jamie Brian McGuckin in 1977. Sherri and her son, Jamie moved to Oklahoma in 1987 to be near family. Sherri was a devout Christian, hard-working mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending her nights watching "The Voice", "Bluebloods", and of course the Oklahoma City THUNDER. Sherri, more than anything, enjoyed spending time with her family. Our family has always gotten together for the different occasions and mom never missed one. Sherri always enjoyed playing the different games we played, the food, and most of all, the "Memories Made." Sherri was a great artist and crafter. She used to always make crafts and sell them at church or craft fairs. She also enjoyed bringing life to grandpa's wood creations by painting them. Sherri will be missed by son and daughter in law, Jamie and Tanya McGuckin; granddaughters, Heather and Rachel; her brother, Mike and his wife, Kathi Fisher; their daughter, Jennafer Marchant; their granddaughter, Fisher Marchant; her other brother, Jerry and his wife, Bonnie Fisher; their children, Justin Fisher, Coy Fisher, Dustin and Alesha Rettig; their grandchildren, Callista, Hailey and Alexa Fisher as well as Presley, Sawyer, Slader and Ollie Rettig. Lastly, her sister, Sandy Kelley and husband, Larry; their son, Shaun Kelley; other son, Derek Kelley and his wife, Maisie; and their grandchildren, Hudson, Kinley and Deacon Kelley. Sherri was predeceased by her mother, Dorothy Fisher, on October 24, 2018; her niece, Dana Fisher-King on March 6, 2018; her father, Jack Fisher on September 12, 2010; and her sister, Tina Fisher at 6 months of age. Memorial services for Sherri and Dorothy will be held at 10am on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Mercer-Adams Chapel.
