Sherman Arthur Freeman, 70, passed peacefully in his home on April 24, 2012, leaving behind his loving wife of 51 years, Jerri Freeman. Additional survivors include his three children and their families: son, Jay and wife Tammy, grandchildren, Natalie and Curtis, and great-grandson Walley, all of OKC; son, Grant and wife Sheryl, grandchildren, Shelby, Meagan, Jeremy and Coryn, all of MO; daughter, Sandy English and husband Billy, grandchildren, Shandi Fisher and husband Levi, Kammi Herrmann and husband Mark, Kyler, Calli and Baylor, all of Minco, OK. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, coach, friend, brother and helper to all. He was always giving of himself, touching many lives. He will be greatly missed. Viewing will be Thursday, 10am-9pm with the family present from 5-7pm at Mercer-Adams. Funeral service will be Friday, April 27, 10:00am at Newcastle Church of the First Born with interment in Bethany Cemetery.
