Sherman Dorough was born on April 30, 1932 to James and Lillie Dorough at Ralls, TX. He died on February 5, 2022. Sherman graduated from Bethany H.S. in 1949. He and his wife, Dorothy, loved to hunt, fish and camp with their friends. Sherman was a master gardener. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; stepson, Rickey Brady, Sr. as well as three of his four siblings. He is survived by his brother, Rex and wife Betty Dorough of Oklahoma City; stepdaughter, Shelly Cook of Oklahoma City; step-granddaughter, Dia Bertwell of Oklahoma City; step-grandson, Rickey Brady and family of Edmond, OK; and several nieces and nephews. Viewing will be Sunday, 11am-8pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service. Interment will be in Bethany Cemetery on Monday, February 14 at 12:00pm. A memorial service will be held at a later date. .
